Maybe I should post something about myself no?
Anyways, I'm Steph. 16 and I've finally left compulsery education. I don't know why I'm overjoyed because I'm off to college in September to study English Literature, English Language, Psychology and Biology. I'm not certain on what job I want; either a doctor, a forensic scientist or a History teacher. One thing I definitely know is that I'm going to be an author; not neccessarily a good one, but meh. According to some I'm a good writer (Beth!) but I'm not!
Err... I did have an interview for the Junior Apprentice... a chance to win £20,000 and training in the career path I want, but I couldn't make the interview *curses* So I'm going to try again next year. I have really vivid dreams
and I tend to make reference to them a lot.
I'm a writer. If there's one way to describe me, it's being a writer. All I do is live to write. I'm currently working on a novel called Beyond Fate... that's the working title. I might post excerpts up in the 'fan fiction' although it's clearly not fan-fiction. I can never seem to finish a idea though... I get too many of them and move onto new ones before I finish them... or even start them for that matter.
I've been role-playing since September 2007. I started role-playing NCIS... god! My role-playing back then was so bad. Text talk! Gah! I shudder when I see that account
. It's gradually improved. I guess you could say I'm an advanced role-player. I currently Role-play on an original Role-play site, this one and Amore (A twilight RPG.) I role-play any character. I was originally going to do Tonks on here, but I did Ron instead. With Twilight Role-play, I tend to do all the Cullen Males except Edward, Jacob, Quil and James. My main role-play is as Dr. Carlisle Cullen. He's always been my favourite... and that had nothing to do with my crush on Peter Facinelli or his friend Rob DeFranco! I swear!
Allie - who does Lily on this site - is my wife! We're married
. Well, we're not but she's my lover anyway. She's my Esme and I'm her Carlisle! Always will be... well I hope so! I can't remember exactly when we met, but it was about August/September last year in a huge MSN Twilight Role-play. Been 'together' ever since.
Beth - Harry - is one of my many test readers who I refer to affectionally as a Tester Monkey. I can't remember exactly when we met either... but I think it was when I first did Luna. We then went on to have HUGE essay type role-plays via bebo when I did Frank. The 'back in time' role-play with Harry and James was fun; she still makes me do that even though I don't go on bebo anymore xD.
I own several forums.. proboard ones. In my opinion, they're better than these websites... no offence intended - but I find them easier to use. I have a Twilight one, a Harry Potter one which is a work in progress and also an original RP one which is also a work in progress.
I'm a big reader. I'll read anything so long as it's interesting and has twists. I've recently been put off Vampires and Twilight by all the obsessive fan girls who go mental when you mention the world Twilight, or Edward etc. I also think it's badly written. Don't get me wrong, I like it, but it's not the best book in the world. I also hate how Harry Potter and Twilight are compared. One's about vampires and the other is about Wizards. You don't see sparkley vampires in Hogwarts and you don't see bald snake lovers running around Forks. The 'war' is stupid. I'm currently reading The Crimson Petal and the White by Michael Faber. A long book - 835 pages - but it's good. About a prostitutue making her way up the social chain.
Err... I'm a huge tom-boy (like many here). Love violence in computer games - god of war and Grand Theft Auto are my favourite games at the minute - horror films etc. I don't wear make-up at all. I think it's pointless because (in my own opinion) I think it makes the girl seem unconfident with herself because she has to hide behind a mask.
According to a lot of my dreams, my ideal man (later in life) would be either a doctor or a police officer. I'm not fussed about hair colour, though I do like red-heads and brunettes. Everything else doesn't matter
.
My music range varies a lot. I love Three Days Grace, Fall Out Boy, N-Dubz, Chipmunk, Pitbull, JLS etc. I have about 15 favourite songs at the minute. Which are:
1. Beat Again - JLS
2. Diamond Rings - Chipmunk
3. Battlefield - Jordan Sparks (current inspiration for Beyond Fate)
4. Sweet Dreams - Beyonce
5. I know you want me - Pitbull
6. I know, you know (psych theme tune) - the friendly indians
7. Kiss me through the phone - Soulja Boy tell 'em
8. When Love takes over - David Guetta Feat. Kelly Rowland
9. Secrets - N-Dubz
10. Defeat you - N-Dubz feat Chipmunk
11. Papa can you hear me? - N-Dubz
12. Time of dying - Three Days Grace
13. Animal I have become - Three Days Grace
14. Human - The Killers
15. Red - Daniel Merriweather
16. You to me are everything - The Real Thing
That's basically my play-list, though I have a few hundred more on my iTunes! They're the ones I listen to most. JLS rock! That's for the record!
I also have a suspected ADD... four of the five in fact. Explains my lack of concentration but it's... fun? If that's the right word. I have to have deadlines or I won't get anything done. Music helps me concentrate. The internet is a huge distraction and even if I don't have it, I'll still find something else to do. I'm a chess fanatic. My life revolves around MSN (along side writing) so if anyone wants me... I'll be on my Carlisle account -
DrCarlisleCullen@hotmail.co.uk - It's the only account I ever go on. I also have trouble keeping up with accounts on forums... so if I don't come on for awhile.. you know why!
My favourite TV shows happen to range too. I like crime series such as Bones (my all time favourite), Criminal Minds, CSI (all of them), LAO etc. I also like comedys; Two pints of larger and a packet of crisps, mock the week, QI. I like cartoons too e.g. The simpsons, Family guy, American Dad. I like the 'soaps', though I only like Hollyoaks at the minute. Films range a lot too. I have yet to see Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince! I've been on holiday this past week, so I'm going to see it on Monday. I like Mission Impossible, Meet the Parents, Meet the Fockers, Hotel for Dogs, Wild Child, Harry Potter, Twilight, Bridge to Terabithia, Nanny McPhee - basically I'll watch anything. I like the Saw Series but I think they're running out of ideas on how to kill the people; it can't go on forever. I also like the Hannibal series (Gaspard Ulliel is hot!
).
A random thing I learnt whilst on holiday: I was at a continental market and the French people are hot! And their accents are to die for
.
God, I've ranted so much! I don't usually like to talk this much... I'm more of a quiet person, I promise! Anyway, I'll shut up now xD.
