After the Full Moon

Subject: After the Full Moon Fri Aug 07, 2009 2:30 am

It was the early hours, Remus had been at the shrieking shack the night just gone, during the full moon. He had a very rough night and was found just outside the shack this morning. His body was covered in open wounds, his face was grey in colour, there was blood over his chest and in his hair. He didn't look in a good state. His breathing was slow and shallow, every now and then he would come to, coughing and spluttering.

He felt sick, his stomach churning and groaning as he laid in a spare bed in the hospital wing, He couldn't remember anything of the night that had passed, all he knew was he could taste blood, he opened it was his own. He looked around the wing, the other beds seemed to be empty, which he was greatful for.

Nymphadora Tonks walked up to the front of the castle of hogwarts, thinking what it would be like to walk through those doors again. Was she even allowed to? Well, technically she was dating one of the professors, fiance' even-although she disliked the term. Even so, maybe she wouldn't be allowed in. She attempted opening the doors and looked around to see nobody was inside so she slipped inside and closed the door, walking down the hall and looking for Remus. Maybe he was in his classroom, or lost somewhere. She knew that last night was a full moon and she was banned from seeing him on full moon's so she stayed at the Burrow worried sick the entire night. She stared at the moon crying for about four hours before starting to pace. She tried to sleep but couldn't. Now, it was over-thank god, but she wanted to make sure Remus was okay so here she was searching for him.

One of the nurses tha worked in the Hospital wing past Tonks, carrying a bundle of bandages, and sheets, with a basket of potions following through the air behind her.

She was heading down the corridor on the third floor, going towards the Hospital wing, looking as though she was in a hurry to get there
....
Remus turned in his bed, sweat running down his brow as another healer tried to clean some of the serious wounds, large gashes, some looking like claw scratches and the others like bites, in some areas a large piece of flesh had been ripped off..

Tonks curiously followed the nurse, thinking it might have been one of the students again. All of them always got hurt some way, and she knew most of them there so why not go there to comfort them? Maybe they wanted some company. She followed the nurse into the hospital wing and squinted her eyes at the person laying on the bed. No...no...no! It could not be Remus on that bed. He could not be the giant red lump on that bed, groaning and moving around in pain. Tears rimmed her eyes when she found out that she had no choice but to admit that her loved one was on that bed. "Remus..." She whispered, her voice and hands shaky. She slowly walked toward him and sat down on the edge of the bed as a tear ran down her cheek. "My remus..." She bit her bottom lip to keep from crying. She was afraid to touch him or hurt him more then he already was hurt.
